Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

1. How long does each counselling session last?

Each session lasts for 50 minutes, giving you time to explore your thoughts and feelings at a comfortable pace.

2. How much does counselling cost?

Sessions are charged at £50 per session. I also offer an initial consultation so we can decide together if counselling feels right for you.

3. Do you offer online counselling?

Yes. I offer sessions both in-person in Peterborough and online via Zoom or Microsoft Teams. Online sessions provide the same level of support and confidentiality as face-to-face.

4. How confidential is counselling?

Everything you share in counselling is kept confidential. The only exceptions are rare circumstances where I have a legal or ethical duty to break confidentiality for your safety or the safety of others.

5. What happens in the first session?

In the first session, we’ll talk about what brings you to counselling, any goals you may have, and what you hope to gain from therapy. It’s also a chance for you to ask me questions and get a feel for how I work.

6. How many sessions will I need?

The number of sessions varies depending on your needs. Some people benefit from short-term therapy, while others prefer longer-term support. We’ll review progress together every few sessions.

7. How do I book a session?

You can book by contacting me directly through the website, emailing, or calling. I’ll get back to you promptly with available times.

If you’re ready to take the first step, I’d be happy to hear from you.
